A Daughter of Salem: Winter Solstice

This painting was an experiment in paint handling techniques. I laid thick, wet paint down over thinner layers that were dry already. I used a kneaded eraser that I pressed into various rocks and fossils to lift the wet paint off, revealing the dried colors beneath.
